Working with one of our Nadcap certified vendors we are pleased to have added the ability to perform chrome repairs within our system. This provides Volo Aero MRO the ability to perform chrome repairs without the need to use an FAA certified Chrome facility. During the current supply chain constraints in the market for plating services this will allow Volo Aero MRO to reduce our repair turn times and provide our customers with improved services.
The typical components we see requiring chrome repairs include housings, gears and supports for the Rolls Royce T56, Hamilton Sundstrand accessory housings, V2500, CFM56 and CF6 accessory gears.
